This week I have been grateful for...

....Friday night date night
....The crazy fall wind
....Extended family time this upcoming week
....Making plans for his graduation trip
....His sing-song voice saying Nene's Bed when it is naptime.
....Pink sunsets
....Warm slippers on a cold morning
....Candle-lit corners
....Spending an hour together drinking coffee and wrapping Christmas presents...remembering the past and
    imagining the future.
....Her wanting group hugs, including the dog, 5 times a day

Memorial Day Weekend

(Found these last night on Chloe's camera...forgot all about them.   This was our weekend trip to the Lake over Memorial Day weekend.)

We went with some friends, took their camper, set it up and Bray and I explored.

the dock was my favorite place to sit and enjoy the sounds all around



The boys stayed at the camp and we went to the swimming pool.  She, of course, met everyone there and we ended up staying until lunchtime.  She loved this bear! 

The water was so still, I loved the reflections off of it.  Clouds and setting sun, pink sky. 

It was beautiful.

We woke up Sunday morning to this: (and thunder and lightning and wind)

after 2 movies, we decided it was time to pack it up and come home.  6 people, 3 under 5, in a small space...well there is only so much you can take!  We only ended staying a little over 24 hours, but we had such a good time.
